PORK ADOBO

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs pork belly

  • 2 tbsp garlic minced or crushed

  • 5 dried bay leaves

  • 4 tbsp vinegar

  • 1/2 cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce Koikuchi

  • 1 tbsp peppercorn

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 cup stock

  • Salt to taste

PROCEDURE

  1. Combine Kikkoman Soy Sauce Koikuchi, vinegar, bay leaves, peppercorn, and garlic to marinated the pork.
  2. Fry the marinated pork; cook until lightly brown. Remove, then set aside
  3. Saute garlic until fragrant and translucent.
  4. Return the pork, cook for a few minutes.
  5. Add the stock, bring to a boil then allow to simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes until pork becomes tender.
  6. Transfer to a platter and serve hot.
